Narrative:
A combination of distrs (before takeoff checklists, navigation setup, etc) and being tired led to taxiing onto the active runway. A recurrence could be prevented simply by taxiing to the runway, then performing the before takeoff checklist. (Especially when single pilot in a turboprop.)
