Narrative:
I flew small transport jet on aug/tue/93. The WX -- light rain and winds, visibility around 15. Normal landing. I touched down between 500-800 from the end of runway 29, on centerline. We encountered no difficulty during touchdown and slowing process until we were traveling at around 20 mph and had covered close to 3/4 of the runway. At this point, we had no option to go around. The airplane hydroplaned to the left and went off the runway. The captain tried to gain control and there was nothing he could do either. We met FAA inspector mr X and found no negligence on our behalf. No accidents involved. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter revised his estimate upward to 35 KTS at the time the aircraft left the runway. He believes that there was no problem with the aircraft's antiskid system. He was told by the FAA representative that hydroplaning can happen at any speed. There was no damage or injury. There was no crosswind of any consequence.

Title: AN SMT JET SKIDDED OFF THE SIDE OF THE RWY. THE RWY WAS WET.
Narrative: I FLEW SMT JET ON AUG/TUE/93. THE WX -- LIGHT RAIN AND WINDS, VISIBILITY AROUND 15. NORMAL LNDG. I TOUCHED DOWN BTWN 500-800 FROM THE END OF RWY 29, ON CTRLINE. HE BELIEVES THAT THERE WAS NO PROB WITH THE ACFT'S ANTISKID SYS. HE WAS TOLD BY THE FAA REPRESENTATIVE THAT HYDROPLANING CAN HAPPEN AT ANY SPD. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE OR INJURY. THERE WAS NO XWIND OF ANY CONSEQUENCE.
