Narrative:

Aircraft was parked at the air carrier ramp at rfd with a slight right quartering tailwind. Wind had turned to 200/8, the aircraft was parked in a 070 degree heading. At 1900 the national WX reported wind of 200/8 variable 17 to 23 KTS. We did not have access to this information. Local ATIS did not report the variable wind. The #2 engine fire warning sounded. This aircraft is not equipped with the nacelle overheat warning. I proceeded with the engine fire emergency procedures. This could have been prevented by the ground crew, if they would have parked the aircraft more into the wind and also the crew could have been more alert if the company did not schedule reduced rest overnight, which we were on.
