Narrative:
Flight from gsp to dtw. Approximately 65 south of djb at FL240 on J85, we received a TCASII RA commanding a climb at a rate between 1500-2000 FPM. We complied and informed ZOB. We climbed to 24800 ft. At that point we were 'clear of conflict' so we returned to FL240. The controller said he was 'sorry our machine went off' and we soon switched frequencys.
