Narrative:
Vehicle approaching runway 22 at bb intersection. Vehicle requested to cross runway 22, after coordinating with local controller, told to cross vehicle. Looking and scanning runway saw nothing, possibly because of aircraft X blending in with trees while still airborne. Crossed vehicle. In my opinion, I don't feel as many vehicles should be crossing runways when they can just as easily and more safely go around the perimeter to other side.
