Narrative:
During ramper directed parking at lax, aircraft's right wingtip made contact with a fuel truck parked out of its marked area. Damage to aircraft wingtip was scraped paint and a cracked wingtip light lens. No damage to fuel truck. Fuel truck parked out of its area caused an unusual situation for ramper to deal with. A wing walker could have prevented this but none was available at this time. Supplemental information from acn 253737: this whole incident could have been avoided by having more ramp space in lax. Cases such as this one are inevitable due to this limited space.
