Narrative:
We were issued the IFR departure from pwk runway 16 requiring a right turn to 030 degrees within 5000 ft radius from a point 1 NM off the end of the runway. This requires a 30 degree bank in no wind at 160 KTS. The PF was going faster than that and fortunately the wind was 290 degrees at 15 KTS or more and kept us closer than we would have been had there been no wind. This turn is to be made so that you remain east of the ord 345 degree radial. We completed the turn on the radial not east of it and the controller said that spacing 'got tight.'
