Narrative:
I was cleared by the controller to land, but was unable to reduce my speed to the gear extension speed. At about 100-200 ft AGL the controller told me to do a go around. I did a go around, and I was able to land without incident. The controller told me to do a go around because he saw that my gear was not down.
