Narrative:
Scheduled air carrier operation arriving into phx. We were given an unscheduled aircraft change. During 20 mins we changed aircraft which were parked at 2 different terminals. Aircraft preflight and clearance received. We were pushing back for an on time departure. Captain and I both heard clearance as issued to burbank, ca. Due to the rush of staying on time I inadvertently had the wrong SID displayed on my chart holder. The captain had not had time to pull any charts. We discussed the buckeye departure during taxi to active runway 8R, problem being we were given the drake departure. Difference in the departures is that one is a turn to the south, the other a turn to the north. Having discussed the wrong departure we made a turn to the south. It was during this turn that ATC advised us to make a turn to the left to 360 degrees. Not yet realizing our mistake we were again given an immediate turn to the north, which we complied with. Traffic separation was never lost. It was not until this time we realized the mistake. Upon arrival at burbank, ATC was called by phone. An inadvertent mistake thinking of going to the los angeles basin making a normal turn to the right out the buckeye departure route, however this was wrong. We were fortunate the controller was very alert and kept this from becoming a worse situation than it already was. Factors contributing: being in a hurry, letting others rush you, not taking time to double-check important items such as clearance, being physically tired. This is a first and hopefully the last that a mistake of this magnitude will happen. This was a warning to me to not take things for granted -- double-check your own procedures and actions.

THIS IS A FIRST AND HOPEFULLY THE LAST THAT A MISTAKE OF THIS MAGNITUDE WILL HAPPEN. THIS WAS A WARNING TO ME TO NOT TAKE THINGS FOR GRANTED -- DOUBLE-CHK YOUR OWN PROCS AND ACTIONS.
