Narrative:
During normal approach sequence, flaps did not operate normally, would not move beyond 1 degree. Used abnormal procedures per operating manual. Flaps operated in alternate flap mode. Used 20 degrees as stated and requested longest available runway and emergency equipment as a precaution. Landed normally and taxied into gate. Made maintenance notation in aircraft log and problem was subsequently handled by maintenance.

Title: LGT HAS ABNORMAL FLAP OP.
Narrative: DURING NORMAL APCH SEQUENCE, FLAPS DID NOT OPERATE NORMALLY, WOULD NOT MOVE BEYOND 1 DEG. USED ABNORMAL PROCS PER OPERATING MANUAL. FLAPS OPERATED IN ALTERNATE FLAP MODE. USED 20 DEGS AS STATED AND REQUESTED LONGEST AVAILABLE RWY AND EMER EQUIP AS A PRECAUTION. LANDED NORMALLY AND TAXIED INTO GATE. MADE MAINT NOTATION IN ACFT LOG AND PROB WAS SUBSEQUENTLY HANDLED BY MAINT.
