Narrative:

On landing rollout, #2 engine thrust reverser departed the aircraft. Debris from the reverser remained on runway and another air carrier light transport reported some damage from this. No injuries to any passenger or crew from either aircraft. Supplemental information from acn 258781: due to our aircraft's speed, we were unable to avoid the debris. We were, however, able to raise the nose of the aircraft enough to prevent the propeller from hitting the debris. The left landing gear did hit the cowling though, causing damage to the gear door.
