Narrative:

During taxi into gate at dfw, the left wingtip struck a catering truck. Although the aircraft was on the yellow taxi line, clearance between aircraft and vehicles in truck lane is not assured. Extreme caution must be exercised. Supplemental information from acn 259682: we thought we were clear because we were on the line. But we were informed the yellow line clears other aircraft, not ground equipment.

Narrative: DURING TAXI INTO GATE AT DFW, THE L WINGTIP STRUCK A CATERING TRUCK. ALTHOUGH THE ACFT WAS ON THE YELLOW TAXI LINE, CLRNC BTWN ACFT AND VEHICLES IN TRUCK LANE IS NOT ASSURED.
