Narrative:
We were downwind (right) for runway 35R. The TCASII gave us a caution warning of an aircraft 700 ft below. We were at normal pattern altitude for a jet, 7400 ft (1500 ft AGL). The training captain warned me about the conflict and we got a TCASII aural warning 'climb.' the captain took the aircraft and said 'I've got it' as the warning on the TCASII turned red and showed 200 ft below. He applied full power and climbed out of the pattern in a slight left turn. The TCASII aural warning was saying 'climb, climb, climb!' we leveled off at 8400 ft which is in the den class B airspace. I saw the C-182 pass below us, maybe 500 ft below. We returned to the pattern and landed without further incident.

Title: NMAC BTWN AN LTT CPR JET AND AN SMA IN AN ARPT TFC PATTERN.
Narrative: WE WERE DOWNWIND (R) FOR RWY 35R. THE TCASII GAVE US A CAUTION WARNING OF AN ACFT 700 FT BELOW. WE WERE AT NORMAL PATTERN ALT FOR A JET, 7400 FT (1500 FT AGL). THE TRAINING CAPT WARNED ME ABOUT THE CONFLICT AND WE GOT A TCASII AURAL WARNING 'CLB.' THE CAPT TOOK THE ACFT AND SAID 'I'VE GOT IT' AS THE WARNING ON THE TCASII TURNED RED AND SHOWED 200 FT BELOW. HE APPLIED FULL PWR AND CLBED OUT OF THE PATTERN IN A SLIGHT L TURN. THE TCASII AURAL WARNING WAS SAYING 'CLB, CLB, CLB!' WE LEVELED OFF AT 8400 FT WHICH IS IN THE DEN CLASS B AIRSPACE. I SAW THE C-182 PASS BELOW US, MAYBE 500 FT BELOW. WE RETURNED TO THE PATTERN AND LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.
