Narrative:
Tug operator saluted captain, indicating 'wave off' or ok to taxi. Ground headset operator was still hooked up to the plane. Taxi was started and the plane moved about a ft when the ground handler requested permission to disconnect. The plane was stopped immediately and permission was granted. No damage or injuries resulted. Balance of taxi was uneventful.

Title: START TAXI AFTER WAVE OFF WITH HEADSET OPERATOR STILL CONNECTED.
Narrative: TUG OPERATOR SALUTED CAPT, INDICATING 'WAVE OFF' OR OK TO TAXI. GND HEADSET OPERATOR WAS STILL HOOKED UP TO THE PLANE. TAXI WAS STARTED AND THE PLANE MOVED ABOUT A FT WHEN THE GND HANDLER REQUESTED PERMISSION TO DISCONNECT. THE PLANE WAS STOPPED IMMEDIATELY AND PERMISSION WAS GRANTED. NO DAMAGE OR INJURIES RESULTED. BAL OF TAXI WAS UNEVENTFUL.
