Narrative:
Being vectored for a visual approach to gso runway 23, level at 4000 ft, nebound. Navajo Y was at 3000 ft sebound. He reported us in sight and began a visual reference climb. This caused us a TCASII alert to climb. At this time I acquired the navajo. We climbed per TCASII but the navajo continued his climb into us and passed very close on our left and slightly behind us.
