Narrative:

Normal ground congestion at dtw following VMC landing at dtw. Slow taxi-in with frequent stops in sequence behind b- 727. As he moved from obstructing our taxi path from outer taxiway to oscar 10 intersection, we turned and went in to alleyway between the concourses. After parked at gate and passenger deplaned, first officer came back to cockpit and notified me to look at left wingtip. Our left wing vortillon under wing portion was bent approximately halfway down. I notified our maintenance and escorted him to ramp to show him above damage. Subsequent reports filed. The B-727 that was ahead of us received 5 inch crimp in #2 engine exhaust fairing. We did not realize this until 10-15 mins after parking and were done with postflt. Supplemental information from acn 264702: I asked the captain if there was enough room and that it looked very tight. The 727 was slowly moving forward. I lost view of it as we turned. He looked over his shoulder and kept moving. The taxiway was rough with patchy snow and we felt the jet blast on our aircraft from the 727. There was a thump or bump and I wasn't sure what it was. I checked the wing upon gate arrival. The winglet was bent on the lower half. Even after asking twice it seems you can never never trust anyone. Giving capts respect and trust was what I gave mine. He taxied into another aircraft after I queried him.
