Narrative:
Cruise FL250. Left windshield outer pane broke. Asked center for lower, got FL240. Told center need to get down lower, then got FL160, but by that time was out of FL240 -- more like FL235 -- when I got the 16000 ft ATC was great and very fast to get me down below 18000 ft. Leveled off at 10000 ft. Cabin differential was at .5 IAS, was 140 KTS. Went home at that altitude. Copilot flew ILS to rog without incident.
