Narrative:

Anytime aircraft are taxied to runway 34L there is a possibility for a runway incursion. The signage for the area on midland international near runways 34L and 4 are poorly labeled. On many occasions, aircraft enter runway 4 for takeoff on runway 34L. This happens with all types of aviation aircraft, military, air carrier, and GA. When the tower and ground control get busy the chances of a problem increase because of the short distances involved. Taxiway left and runway 4 and not stressed for large heavy aircraft. The airport management has been advised of the problem. Their answer is 'it's in the works' or 'it meets FAA specifications.' this has been a problem for 2 yrs or more.
