Narrative:
Air carrier abgd receiving vectors on palace 1 departure. Air carrier abcd was also on frequency. Heard abgd turn left 300 climb to 11000 ft. Did so and at 7000 ft controller said he cleared us only to 5000 ft. Then he cleared us to 7000 ft and turned us to 070 degrees. Clearance of left 300 degrees to 11000 ft was read back with no response to the negative by controller. Happened because of 2 company aircraft with like call signs and similar route of flight.
