Narrative:
First officer landed aircraft on runway 19R. I took over control of aircraft prior to exiting runway 19R at taxiway east. Controller advised us to hold short of taxiway a for taxiing citabria sbound on taxiway a. Taxiway east is a very short taxiway and, to assure that the entire aircraft had cleared the active runway, I taxied the aircraft until the nose of aircraft was up to and slight over the intersection of taxiway east and a. Citabria moved over to left side of taxiway a and passed over aircraft from left to right as he headed south. I felt the controller issued our hold short instructions later than normal and, being a very short distance, it is difficult to know exactly when the aircraft is completely clear of runway. Perhaps the tower and ground controller could have coordinated and warned us earlier of the request to hold short of taxiway a for our planning purposes.

Title: THE NOSE OF AN ACR MLG ENCROACHED ON A TXWY. NON ADHERENCE TO ATC CLRNC INSTRUCTION.
Narrative: FO LANDED ACFT ON RWY 19R. I TOOK OVER CTL OF ACFT PRIOR TO EXITING RWY 19R AT TXWY E. CTLR ADVISED US TO HOLD SHORT OF TXWY A FOR TAXIING CITABRIA SBOUND ON TXWY A. TXWY E IS A VERY SHORT TXWY AND, TO ASSURE THAT THE ENTIRE ACFT HAD CLRED THE ACTIVE RWY, I TAXIED THE ACFT UNTIL THE NOSE OF ACFT WAS UP TO AND SLIGHT OVER THE INTXN OF TXWY E AND A. CITABRIA MOVED OVER TO L SIDE OF TXWY A AND PASSED OVER ACFT FROM L TO R AS HE HEADED S. I FELT THE CTLR ISSUED OUR HOLD SHORT INSTRUCTIONS LATER THAN NORMAL AND, BEING A VERY SHORT DISTANCE, IT IS DIFFICULT TO KNOW EXACTLY WHEN THE ACFT IS COMPLETELY CLR OF RWY. PERHAPS THE TWR AND GND CTLR COULD HAVE COORDINATED AND WARNED US EARLIER OF THE REQUEST TO HOLD SHORT OF TXWY A FOR OUR PLANNING PURPOSES.
