Narrative:
Other aircraft announced entering left down wind. I was unable to locate anybody there. Then I saw traffic 400 ft below turning from crosswind to left down wind. It would help everybody if everyone would turn on landing lights and beacon before entering pattern and give accurate position reports.

Title: NMAC BTWN 2 SMA ACFT IN THE TFC PATTERN OF AN UNCTLED ARPT.
Narrative: OTHER ACFT ANNOUNCED ENTERING L DOWN WIND. I WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE ANYBODY THERE. THEN I SAW TFC 400 FT BELOW TURNING FROM XWIND TO L DOWN WIND. IT WOULD HELP EVERYBODY IF EVERYONE WOULD TURN ON LNDG LIGHTS AND BEACON BEFORE ENTERING PATTERN AND GIVE ACCURATE POS RPTS.
