Narrative:
I was flying VFR from shreveport regional airport to west memphis airport (awm). Most of the flight, I was cruising at 1500 ft AGL but I was flying over a lot of unpopulated areas and at times I dropped to approximately 200 ft. I hope I did not cause any undue concern by people watching. People are probably used to seeing aircraft at higher altitudes and just assumed I was violating some rule. I've understood that according to far 91.119 that I am allowed to fly at any altitude over sparsely populated areas as long as I remain 500 ft from any person, vessel, vehicle, or structure and have enough altitude and airspeed to allow for a safe emergency landing in the event of an engine out. I did not knowingly or intentionally violate any far and regret any inconvenience or undue concern from any bystanders on the ground.
