Narrative:
While on final approach we experienced an asymmetrical flap problem. After completing the abnormal checklist and determining no adverse control difficulty, we continued the approach and landed. However, in the 'heat of the moment' I failed to switch to tower and get landing clearance.

Narrative: WHILE ON FINAL APCH WE EXPERIENCED AN ASYMMETRICAL FLAP PROB. AFTER COMPLETING THE ABNORMAL CHKLIST AND DETERMINING NO ADVERSE CTL DIFFICULTY, WE CONTINUED THE APCH AND LANDED. HOWEVER, IN THE 'HEAT OF THE MOMENT' I FAILED TO SWITCH TO TWR AND GET LNDG CLRNC.
