Narrative:
Advised by approach to cross dandy at 1500 ft. Noted approach plate listed 2000 ft, figured we would just fly the GS to 1500 ft. Advised by ATC at dandy we were still at 2000 ft. We missed the notation 1500 ft if advised by ATC. Note is on teb ILS 6 plate profile. Crew discussed 1500 ft and chose to fly GS instead. We should have caught the note.
