Narrative:
I departed from mlb with 3 passenger on board. En route to mhh bahamas. I filed IFR, it was a perfect flight all the way down. I completed my descent, and landing checklist by computer, did a mid-field entry with a loft downwind. To mhh, everything seemed good, acknowledge gear, green, added flaps, turned left base, to final. Next thing I realized I had scraping, which at the time could have been the step on the right. I had a headset on to try to keep the noise down. I acknowledge gear down again as I went mid-field left downwind. I didn't double check on final that I had again 3 green. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter states the scraping must have been the step as he touched down. He is positive he had gear down indication on downwind. So far mechanics can find nothing wrong with the mechanism. Minimal damage was done to the aircraft, some slight skin damage on bottom. Of course, propeller was damaged.

CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATES THE SCRAPING MUST HAVE BEEN THE STEP AS HE TOUCHED DOWN. HE IS POSITIVE HE HAD GEAR DOWN INDICATION ON DOWNWIND. SO FAR MECHS CAN FIND NOTHING WRONG WITH THE MECHANISM. MINIMAL DAMAGE WAS DONE TO THE ACFT, SOME SLIGHT SKIN DAMAGE ON BOTTOM. OF COURSE, PROP WAS DAMAGED.
