Narrative:
Company computer was OTS. We received our pre departure clearance 10 mins late in a rush with other papers. No gate hold in effect. We taxied out and were on the runway when we realized that the pre departure clearance initial turn was not right for the direction we had to robbinsville. VOR. It was then I noted the pre departure clearance was for flight oy, not our flight. We then called to clear the runway. Tower gave us the correct transponder code and cleared us for takeoff. (P.south. We did not clear the runway.) through local knowledge I knew the heading would be about 155 degrees on this departure from runway 13R. We contacted departure after takeoff and asked for the right heading. They said no problem and gave it to us as we anticipated and the flight proceeded to lax uneventfully. If gate hold had us read back our squawk when we contacted them, this would not happen. Late! Rush! WX! Etc, causes one to overlook the obvious. The squawk read back would be a good safety check.

Title: WRONG XPONDER CODE ASSIGNMENT DUE TO WRONG PDC IN CLRNC PAPERS.
Narrative: COMPANY COMPUTER WAS OTS. WE RECEIVED OUR PDC 10 MINS LATE IN A RUSH WITH OTHER PAPERS. NO GATE HOLD IN EFFECT. WE TAXIED OUT AND WERE ON THE RWY WHEN WE REALIZED THAT THE PDC INITIAL TURN WAS NOT RIGHT FOR THE DIRECTION WE HAD TO ROBBINSVILLE. VOR. IT WAS THEN I NOTED THE PDC WAS FOR FLT OY, NOT OUR FLT. WE THEN CALLED TO CLR THE RWY. TWR GAVE US THE CORRECT XPONDER CODE AND CLRED US FOR TKOF. (P.S. WE DID NOT CLR THE RWY.) THROUGH LCL KNOWLEDGE I KNEW THE HDG WOULD BE ABOUT 155 DEGS ON THIS DEP FROM RWY 13R. WE CONTACTED DEP AFTER TKOF AND ASKED FOR THE R HDG. THEY SAID NO PROB AND GAVE IT TO US AS WE ANTICIPATED AND THE FLT PROCEEDED TO LAX UNEVENTFULLY. IF GATE HOLD HAD US READ BACK OUR SQUAWK WHEN WE CONTACTED THEM, THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN. LATE! RUSH! WX! ETC, CAUSES ONE TO OVERLOOK THE OBVIOUS. THE SQUAWK READ BACK WOULD BE A GOOD SAFETY CHK.
