Narrative:

On jun/thu/94 on flight jax-iah, an FAA inspector looked through my in-flight manual and found that, even though my revision 26 was inserted into my manual, it was not posted. I explained to him that I had just come off of a 2 weeks sick leave and had intended to post the revision that night, which is exactly what I did. Supplemental information from acn 275409: I was not aware that a new revision was out. I discovered there was a new revision out after my manual had been inspected. Notices like this should not be posted on bulletin boards. I was never confronted by the FAA inspector concerning why I did not have the revision. I failed to look on the bulletin board. I relied on my personal v-file too much. I feel that the FAA inspector should have talked to me about why the revision (#26) was not in my manual.
