Narrative:
The captain called back and told me he had shut down one of the engines. We were about 10 mins to landing. There would be no evacuate/evacuation. We landed without instance. Everything was handled very professionally and efficiently. We never felt the engine being shut down.

Title: B727 FLC SHUT DOWN ENG INFLT AND ADVISED THE CABIN ATTENDANTS OF THAT FACT AND THAT THERE WILL BE NO NEED FOR AN EVAC.
Narrative: THE CAPT CALLED BACK AND TOLD ME HE HAD SHUT DOWN ONE OF THE ENGS. WE WERE ABOUT 10 MINS TO LNDG. THERE WOULD BE NO EVAC. WE LANDED WITHOUT INSTANCE. EVERYTHING WAS HANDLED VERY PROFESSIONALLY AND EFFICIENTLY. WE NEVER FELT THE ENG BEING SHUT DOWN.
