Narrative:
Upon taxiing in to gate X in detroit, we noticed equipment including a large truck close to our parking space. Since there was a marshaller and a wing walker on the right side of the aircraft (where the equipment was). I continued to taxi forward to the gate. We were still receiving a taxi forward signal from the marshaller and a thumbs up from the wing walker when the right wing impacted the truck. The marshaller and the wing walker did not notice the collision until we stopped the aircraft and pointed to the wing. The wing walker was approximately 20 ft in front of the wingtip at the time of the collision. Things which contributed: safety containment lines for the equipment are painted red on black top, and were covered with snow which makes them hard to see. Next time, I will not taxi in unless the marshaller and wingman are paying attention.
