Narrative:
After starting both engines and completing 'before taxi checks,' I pulled the parking brake handle and depressed the brake pedals twice. I then turned in the seat to get out the en route and approach charts and my head set. As I turned back forward, I realized that the aircraft was moving. I immediately stepped on the brakes again as hard as possible trying, unsuccessfully, to avoid hitting the tail of a parked aircraft in front of me.
