Narrative:

Was about 6 mi out from ilg after departing there on course 210 degrees at 2000 ft level flight. Passenger and I both saw aircraft simultaneously passing us from our right quarter (4 O'clock position), passing in front of us at approximately relative speed of 50 mph, as though on a course of 180 degrees. It was a cessna skymaster, older, red and white paint, somewhat shabby. I reacted by pushing nose down briefly. Approximately 5- 10 mins later, the same aircraft passed in front of us in opposite direction but at 500 ft (?) above and approximately 1000 ft ahead (#2). I have checked with ilg tower and summit airpark to identify the aircraft so I can phone the pilot and chastise him -- but neither had record of such aircraft.
