Narrative:
After monitoring tower clearance to push from gate, I left my jumpseat to close cockpit door, felt us go rearward, then forward, and during forward motion a sideward bump. Putting my headset back on, found out our wingwalker said we had been hit by air carrier Y while we were moving forward. Maintenance explained we had wing damage.
