Narrative:

After pushback and engine starts we proceeded taxiing from cargo building to active runway 28R via taxiway N2. Due to thunderstorms nearby the airport. We had the WX-radar on as we exited the cargo ramp. Discussing best departure heading, my attention got diverted to the WX and I forgot to call ground for taxi. Neither one of us 3 in the cockpit realized this until I contacted tower at the end of runway 28R, and tower asked us if we had talked to ground.

Title: AN ACR FREIGHTER TAXIED WITHOUT CLRNC.

Narrative: AFTER PUSHBACK AND ENG STARTS WE PROCEEDED TAXIING FROM CARGO BUILDING TO ACTIVE RWY 28R VIA TXWY N2. DUE TO TSTMS NEARBY THE ARPT. WE HAD THE WX-RADAR ON AS WE EXITED THE CARGO RAMP.
