Narrative:
Approximately 2 NM from rbv VOR while at 8000 ft approach gave clearance to 6000 ft at that time we got a TA then a RA. We stopped descent at 7900 ft at direction of TCASII in less than 10 seconds. I saw a white beech baron go under our nose. Shortly after this airplane checked in on frequency at 7500 ft to receive advisories. We did not see this aircraft until the last second and then only because of the TCASII. This aircraft was difficult to see because of the puffy summer clouds in the area. I believe that I would have hit this aircraft had it not been for TCASII--it works!

Narrative: APPROX 2 NM FROM RBV VOR WHILE AT 8000 FT APCH GAVE CLRNC TO 6000 FT AT THAT TIME WE GOT A TA THEN A RA. WE STOPPED DSCNT AT 7900 FT AT DIRECTION OF TCASII IN LESS THAN 10 SECONDS. I SAW A WHITE BEECH BARON GO UNDER OUR NOSE. SHORTLY AFTER THIS AIRPLANE CHKED IN ON FREQ AT 7500 FT TO RECEIVE ADVISORIES.
