Narrative:
We were level at 13000 ft on a departure out of dtw. ZOB called VFR traffic at 10 O'clock. TCASII showed the VFR target about 500 ft above and descending and converging with our course. As the target approached 2 mi we got a RA 'descend.' we complied with the descend command and the traffic flew directly overhead with approximately 1000 ft of separation. We had descended to 12000 ft then climbed back to 13000 ft. ZOB was informed that the altitude deviation was a result of a TCASII RA.

Title: TCASII RA.
Narrative: WE WERE LEVEL AT 13000 FT ON A DEP OUT OF DTW. ZOB CALLED VFR TFC AT 10 O'CLOCK. TCASII SHOWED THE VFR TARGET ABOUT 500 FT ABOVE AND DSNDING AND CONVERGING WITH OUR COURSE. AS THE TARGET APCHED 2 MI WE GOT A RA 'DSND.' WE COMPLIED WITH THE DSND COMMAND AND THE TFC FLEW DIRECTLY OVERHEAD WITH APPROX 1000 FT OF SEPARATION. WE HAD DSNDED TO 12000 FT THEN CLBED BACK TO 13000 FT. ZOB WAS INFORMED THAT THE ALTDEV WAS A RESULT OF A TCASII RA.
