Narrative:
Departed buckley air national guard base on a routine training flight. WX deteriorated with heavy rain showers in area. Bkf went IFR as did our training area and the front range airport. The only VFR area was at dia (which is still closed). I initially made a straight in approach and termination to hover on the northern e-w runway then flew around the terminal area low level at 500 ft AGL and less. No activity other than person in control tower as I flew slowly past the tower. I then proceeded to pena boulevard and flew at 200 ft AGL to familiarize myself with the entry. Procedures to the 2 parking areas and the general aviation facility. Away from obstacles, I was at 200 ft AGL. Another cobra ah-1 helicopter then informed me that the airspace at dia was restr below 500 ft AGL. I had not heard of this restr and obviously did not knowingly violate this airspace if it is indeed a restr now that all the construction is finished and workers have departed. I also had a de-brief with the young copilot as to marginal WX procedures and the possibility that he may have flown the helicopter into the eastern edge of denver's class B airspace due to his not being familiar with the boundaries while my attention was diverted trying to obtain a SVFR clearance into buckley.

Title: MIL HELI ON TRAINING FLT ENCOUNTERS WX, ENTERS CLASS D AND POSSIBLY CLASS B AIRSPACE WITHOUT CLRNC. ALSO DSNDS INTO RESTR AIRSPACE.
Narrative: DEPARTED BUCKLEY AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE ON A ROUTINE TRAINING FLT. WX DETERIORATED WITH HVY RAIN SHOWERS IN AREA. BKF WENT IFR AS DID OUR TRAINING AREA AND THE FRONT RANGE ARPT. THE ONLY VFR AREA WAS AT DIA (WHICH IS STILL CLOSED). I INITIALLY MADE A STRAIGHT IN APCH AND TERMINATION TO HOVER ON THE NORTHERN E-W RWY THEN FLEW AROUND THE TERMINAL AREA LOW LEVEL AT 500 FT AGL AND LESS. NO ACTIVITY OTHER THAN PERSON IN CTL TWR AS I FLEW SLOWLY PAST THE TWR. I THEN PROCEEDED TO PENA BOULEVARD AND FLEW AT 200 FT AGL TO FAMILIARIZE MYSELF WITH THE ENTRY. PROCS TO THE 2 PARKING AREAS AND THE GENERAL AVIATION FACILITY. AWAY FROM OBSTACLES, I WAS AT 200 FT AGL. ANOTHER COBRA AH-1 HELI THEN INFORMED ME THAT THE AIRSPACE AT DIA WAS RESTR BELOW 500 FT AGL. I HAD NOT HEARD OF THIS RESTR AND OBVIOUSLY DID NOT KNOWINGLY VIOLATE THIS AIRSPACE IF IT IS INDEED A RESTR NOW THAT ALL THE CONSTRUCTION IS FINISHED AND WORKERS HAVE DEPARTED. I ALSO HAD A DE-BRIEF WITH THE YOUNG COPLT AS TO MARGINAL WX PROCS AND THE POSSIBILITY THAT HE MAY HAVE FLOWN THE HELI INTO THE EASTERN EDGE OF DENVER'S CLASS B AIRSPACE DUE TO HIS NOT BEING FAMILIAR WITH THE BOUNDARIES WHILE MY ATTN WAS DIVERTED TRYING TO OBTAIN A SVFR CLRNC INTO BUCKLEY.
