Narrative:
Runway at lakes region 12-30 2030 ft times 50 ft asph. Cavu WX. Wind 290 degrees, 10-12 KTS. Visibility 40. Runway 30 -- 3 percent down gradient. Entered left traffic pattern circled entire field. Decided to land runway 12, having landed on 30-8 times last 2 yrs. Use of entire length. Established 1 1/2 mi final full flaps 40 degrees min approach. Speed 72 KTS 2 degrees approach GS. Touchdown at 50 ft from approach end. Retracted flaps. Started immediate braking. Experienced short wind shear and gusting on rollout. Approaching far end due to rise of runway, and drop off, reils were not visual until cresting rise of runway. While still applying full braking, applied left rudder, nose wheel steering. Departed runway toward left corner avoiding reils. Pitched down on 20 degree down slope, surrounding terrain. Traveling down slope to paved airport roadway. Traveled across roadway into 4 ft drop-off, impacted bushes, small trees, aircraft came to halt. No fire, no fuel leakage, no injuries to pilot and/or one male passenger. No property damage. Airport owner was on site shortly after and gave assistance. Damage was extensive and aircraft removed later.
