Narrative:
In cruise flight, at FL330, on 6597. A TA was received -- traffic indicated at 10 O'clock converging, also at FL330 -- traffic acquired visually. RA commanded 'descend now.' sounded and TCASII guidance appeared on pfd. Complied. ATC cleared flight to FL290 with 90 degree course change to right. Traffic passed west and above. Unknown distance. Reclred on course and back to FL330. Reason for conflict unknown. Controller very busy.
