Narrative:
Taxied through red, ILS hold-short sign/marking while approachs were being conducted in WX less than 800 and 2 mi. Held short of normal hold short line. Incident resulted in a flight being sent around by tower. Tower indicated no action would be taken. Approaching sign first officer pointed it out to captain, captain responded by saying that the sign is a catii hold short line only. At that point we rolled through the line and tower ordered other aircraft to go around.

Title: CAPT OF MLG TAXIED PAST ILS RWY HOLD SHORT LINE CAUSING TWR TO MAKE ANOTHER ACFT GAR.
Narrative: TAXIED THROUGH RED, ILS HOLD-SHORT SIGN/MARKING WHILE APCHS WERE BEING CONDUCTED IN WX LESS THAN 800 AND 2 MI. HELD SHORT OF NORMAL HOLD SHORT LINE. INCIDENT RESULTED IN A FLT BEING SENT AROUND BY TWR. TWR INDICATED NO ACTION WOULD BE TAKEN. APCHING SIGN FO POINTED IT OUT TO CAPT, CAPT RESPONDED BY SAYING THAT THE SIGN IS A CATII HOLD SHORT LINE ONLY. AT THAT POINT WE ROLLED THROUGH THE LINE AND TWR ORDERED OTHER ACFT TO GAR.
