Narrative:
In cruise flight at FL190 right propeller RPM decreased to 900 prpm way below normal cruise (almost feather) and right engine overtemp light illuminated. Immediately sought proper action and retarded power, then followed the emergency quick reference handbook and shut down right engine. Notified ATC of situation and declared an emergency. Diverted to orf and landed safely. Notified maintenance of discrepancy.
