Narrative:
In sum: reporter states that this night operation at this airport was very busy and due to daylight saving time going to winter he was operating at night which he is not used to. Due to the high traffic he was assigned an unfamiliar runway. In rushing to clear the runway he misinterpreted the blue light near a reverse high speed and taxied into the mud and got stuck. His action he believes resulted in the closing of the runway.
