Narrative:
I just purchased a mooney M-20F (68). My total time, except recent 10.2 hours of dual in this plane, was in cessna 172. I was doing touch-and-goes at pelion corporate airport and had executed my touch-and-go and put gear up and then came around pattern and lowered gear and came to full stop. I then taxied to runway 17 and took off and put gear up. I tuned in ATIS on #2 communication (had been talking unicom 122.7) and could not get the radios tuned correctly. I was hearing ATIS on #1 and yet it (knob) was on #2. I went through landing check and visually thought my gear was down. My mind was preoccupied, I believe, with ATIS and it did not register. (I had no light and the stick was down on manual landing gear. Gear down -- stick up -- gear up -- stick down.) this was a careless mistake and I have checklist pasted on panel in front plus I try to use gump. I was not concentrating as I should have and my visual cues did not register with my mind. It was a mistake and thankfully, no one or nothing was damaged except my ego and plane. No damage to runway or airport. We jacked plane, extended gear, and pushed it to the hangar

Title: RPTR LANDED GEAR UP.
Narrative: I JUST PURCHASED A MOONEY M-20F (68). MY TOTAL TIME, EXCEPT RECENT 10.2 HRS OF DUAL IN THIS PLANE, WAS IN CESSNA 172. I WAS DOING TOUCH-AND-GOES AT PELION CORPORATE ARPT AND HAD EXECUTED MY TOUCH-AND-GO AND PUT GEAR UP AND THEN CAME AROUND PATTERN AND LOWERED GEAR AND CAME TO FULL STOP. I THEN TAXIED TO RWY 17 AND TOOK OFF AND PUT GEAR UP. I TUNED IN ATIS ON #2 COM (HAD BEEN TALKING UNICOM 122.7) AND COULD NOT GET THE RADIOS TUNED CORRECTLY. I WAS HEARING ATIS ON #1 AND YET IT (KNOB) WAS ON #2. I WENT THROUGH LNDG CHK AND VISUALLY THOUGHT MY GEAR WAS DOWN. MY MIND WAS PREOCCUPIED, I BELIEVE, WITH ATIS AND IT DID NOT REGISTER. (I HAD NO LIGHT AND THE STICK WAS DOWN ON MANUAL LNDG GEAR. GEAR DOWN -- STICK UP -- GEAR UP -- STICK DOWN.) THIS WAS A CARELESS MISTAKE AND I HAVE CHKLIST PASTED ON PANEL IN FRONT PLUS I TRY TO USE GUMP. I WAS NOT CONCENTRATING AS I SHOULD HAVE AND MY VISUAL CUES DID NOT REGISTER WITH MY MIND. IT WAS A MISTAKE AND THANKFULLY, NO ONE OR NOTHING WAS DAMAGED EXCEPT MY EGO AND PLANE. NO DAMAGE TO RWY OR ARPT. WE JACKED PLANE, EXTENDED GEAR, AND PUSHED IT TO THE HANGAR
