Narrative:
Both the captain and I were quite pre-occupied, if he called for the before landing checklist after the gear was lowered, it's possible I didn't hear it, or it's possible he was distraction enough that only the latter half of the checklist was called for (below the line). I realized that the checklist was incomplete on very short final as the ignition needed to be turned on and the spoilers were still not armed. Then, I rushed the checklist. The captain and I debriefed ourselves in detail of the event and he then phoned our chief pilot to report it, followed by submitting his company report. Please see enclosed report by captain. Our concern is the fact that this occurrence caused enough distraction that I missed the '3 bells' on the checklist contained in the before landing checklist. (The distraction was the aircraft ahead of us on short final -- it looked like a cessna 172, coupled with the audio part of our TCASII system.

Title: FLC FAILED TO NOTIFY FA CREW OF PREPARATION FOR LNDG DUE TO BEING DISTR BY TFC WATCH.

THE CAPT AND I DEBRIEFED OURSELVES IN DETAIL OF THE EVENT AND HE THEN PHONED OUR CHIEF PLT TO RPT IT, FOLLOWED BY SUBMITTING HIS COMPANY RPT. PLEASE SEE ENCLOSED RPT BY CAPT. OUR CONCERN IS THE FACT THAT THIS OCCURRENCE CAUSED ENOUGH DISTR THAT I MISSED THE '3 BELLS' ON THE CHKLIST CONTAINED IN THE BEFORE LNDG CHKLIST.
