Narrative:
VFR from pwk to enw. At XA30 on dec/xx/94, I called kankakee flight service for WX and then specifically asked for 'kenosha NOTAMS.' I was told there were none except for 'ILS unmonitored after hours.' using a current VFR sectional I approached kenosha airport on unicom frequency and landed, only after landing did the kenosha tower come on the frequency 122.7 and informed another aircraft to come up on the tower frequency 118.6 (I believe). I then called tower and was told a NOTAM had been issued dec/xx/94 giving the new tower frequency. (Kenosha previously did not have a tower frequency). I know I specifically requested NOTAMS during my briefing and was not told of the new tower frequency. I am also frustrated with the new tower's inability to monitor unicom and inform me of the change when I first called 6 mi out.

Title: CLASS D AIRSPACE ENTRY WITHOUT ESTABLISHED 2-WAY COMS. LNDG WITHOUT CLRNC.
Narrative: VFR FROM PWK TO ENW. AT XA30 ON DEC/XX/94, I CALLED KANKAKEE FLT SVC FOR WX AND THEN SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR 'KENOSHA NOTAMS.' I WAS TOLD THERE WERE NONE EXCEPT FOR 'ILS UNMONITORED AFTER HRS.' USING A CURRENT VFR SECTIONAL I APCHED KENOSHA ARPT ON UNICOM FREQ AND LANDED, ONLY AFTER LNDG DID THE KENOSHA TWR COME ON THE FREQ 122.7 AND INFORMED ANOTHER ACFT TO COME UP ON THE TWR FREQ 118.6 (I BELIEVE). I THEN CALLED TWR AND WAS TOLD A NOTAM HAD BEEN ISSUED DEC/XX/94 GIVING THE NEW TWR FREQ. (KENOSHA PREVIOUSLY DID NOT HAVE A TWR FREQ). I KNOW I SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED NOTAMS DURING MY BRIEFING AND WAS NOT TOLD OF THE NEW TWR FREQ. I AM ALSO FRUSTRATED WITH THE NEW TWR'S INABILITY TO MONITOR UNICOM AND INFORM ME OF THE CHANGE WHEN I FIRST CALLED 6 MI OUT.
