Narrative:
Due to language barrier, when cleared to taxi, I thought the controller said turn right taxi on B to the runway. I turned right and then left on what I thought was taxiway B but realized immediately it was the runway. I exited the runway immediately at next exit and continued on taxiway B which parallels the 2RWY. I should have clarified the instructions before T2AXIING.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: RWY INCURSION WHILE TAXIING FOR DEP.
Narrative: DUE TO LANGUAGE BARRIER, WHEN CLRED TO TAXI, I THOUGHT THE CTLR SAID TURN R TAXI ON B TO THE RWY. I TURNED R AND THEN L ON WHAT I THOUGHT WAS TXWY B BUT REALIZED IMMEDIATELY IT WAS THE RWY. I EXITED THE RWY IMMEDIATELY AT NEXT EXIT AND CONTINUED ON TXWY B WHICH PARALLELS THE 2RWY. I SHOULD HAVE CLARIFIED THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE T2AXIING.
