Narrative:
Flight was cleared to descend to 3000 ft, left turn to heading 110 degrees to intercept final approach course to runway 8L and cleared for the visual approach. We received no further instructions nor were any xmissions after this received on approach control 126.6. After an uneventful landing, we discovered that we were still on approach frequency. Taxiing off the runway, we attempted to contact ground control frequency 121.9 to no avail. After this, we tried successfully to contact tower control on 118.7 and were informed that we had been cleared 4 times and cleared to land. Tower then told us to taxi to parking since we were unable to make contact with ground control. Subsequently we found (by radio check) that our #1 radio had failed.

Title: FLC LANDS WITHOUT CLRNC.
Narrative: FLT WAS CLRED TO DSND TO 3000 FT, L TURN TO HDG 110 DEGS TO INTERCEPT FINAL APCH COURSE TO RWY 8L AND CLRED FOR THE VISUAL APCH. WE RECEIVED NO FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS NOR WERE ANY XMISSIONS AFTER THIS RECEIVED ON APCH CTL 126.6. AFTER AN UNEVENTFUL LNDG, WE DISCOVERED THAT WE WERE STILL ON APCH FREQ. TAXIING OFF THE RWY, WE ATTEMPTED TO CONTACT GND CTL FREQ 121.9 TO NO AVAIL. AFTER THIS, WE TRIED SUCCESSFULLY TO CONTACT TWR CTL ON 118.7 AND WERE INFORMED THAT WE HAD BEEN CLRED 4 TIMES AND CLRED TO LAND. TWR THEN TOLD US TO TAXI TO PARKING SINCE WE WERE UNABLE TO MAKE CONTACT WITH GND CTL. SUBSEQUENTLY WE FOUND (BY RADIO CHK) THAT OUR #1 RADIO HAD FAILED.
