Narrative:
Prior to takeoff, there was some confusion as to the allowable takeoff weight. At the gate in sna, while preparing for departure, in addition to briefing the nonstandard procedures for departure, a discussion of weight and balance ensued focusing on the '0' fuel weight. During subsequent short taxi, it is possible that the '0' fuel weight was used in the takeoff chart to figure the takeoff V speeds.
