Narrative:
Mci issued a crossing restr of 11000 ft at kayla intersection. Approaching kayla, captain noted that we would be high and for me to expedite descent rate, to which I complied. However, we crossed kayla at approximately 11800 ft. 11000 ft leveloff occurred at approximately 7/10 mi inside of the kayla intersection. No additional reports from ATC were received regarding this deviation. Factors included were a significant tailwind component and a misinterp of the actual distance from kayla as displayed on the gfms unit.
