Narrative:
TCASII target appeared at 12 O'clock position at approximately 2 mi, showing 900 ft. We were descending per ATC clearance from 6000 ft to 4000 ft MSL. TCASII RA/TA said 'climb, climb now' which we immediately did. Aircraft passed slightly off to our left, same altitude of 5200 ft MSL. Phx approach confirmed intruder was inside TCA and not known to ATC, or communicating with anyone. I am convinced that collision would, most likely, have occurred without the benefit of TCASII.

Title: FLC TOOK EVASIVE ACTION TO AVOID AN ACFT THAT HAD PENETRATED CLASS B AIRSPACE, WITHOUT A CLRNC.
Narrative: TCASII TARGET APPEARED AT 12 O'CLOCK POS AT APPROX 2 MI, SHOWING 900 FT. WE WERE DSNDING PER ATC CLRNC FROM 6000 FT TO 4000 FT MSL. TCASII RA/TA SAID 'CLB, CLB NOW' WHICH WE IMMEDIATELY DID. ACFT PASSED SLIGHTLY OFF TO OUR L, SAME ALT OF 5200 FT MSL. PHX APCH CONFIRMED INTRUDER WAS INSIDE TCA AND NOT KNOWN TO ATC, OR COMMUNICATING WITH ANYONE. I AM CONVINCED THAT COLLISION WOULD, MOST LIKELY, HAVE OCCURRED WITHOUT THE BENEFIT OF TCASII.
