Narrative:

I advanced the throttles for takeoff power at pbi and received a takeoff warning horn (we checked the speed brake -- in but still had the horn). I called for reject and had the first officer advise the tower. We only had about 40 KIAS, so the reject was smooth and below automatic brake speed. I taxied clear of the runway, set the parking brake and reassessed the situation. We had 3.5 on trim, flaps 5 degrees, green light, speed brake -- in, and parking brake had been released (all required for no takeoff warn horn). Taxied back to the gate, made a logbook entry and called for maintenance. Maintenance (contract) ran a 6-8 page checklist which did not find a cause and after approximately 2 hour delay. Again taxied out and took off without a problem.
